In addition, we are seeking candidates for
the following position:
CHIEF LINGUIST responsible
for all linguistic aspects of our translation production
process, including quality assurance, proofreading,
assessing/reviewing client feedbacks, and translator
selection and qualification.
Preferred qualification
profile:

Fluency in as many foreign languages
as possible

Academic background in Linguistics -
preferably Comparative Linguistics or Computational
Linguistics
-
People management skills
-
Excellent verbal and written
communication skills

Good negotiating skills
Applicant must be US citizen, Green Card
holder, or holder of a US Visa that includes a work permit.
Good computer skills and knowledge of major software
applications used in the translation industry would be a
plus. Experience in the translation industry would also be a
plus.
The Chief Linguist works at our office in
Plymouth, North Carolina. Plymouth is situated on the
Roanoke River in Washington County, approximately 1.5 hours
by car from the Outer Banks.
